Anthony Pacetti has been promoted to director of customer service by Rio Grande Pacific Corporation (RGPC), a progressive short line rail company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
His new responsibilities will include overseeing inbound and outbound customer operations as well as all associated financial responsibilities including the invoicing process.
The new challenge, according to Pacetti, is guiding a department with a team orientation as well as increased efficiencies. “I bring a technical mindset to our process, thinking about the ramifications that affect everyone when we reach certain solutions,” says Pacetti.
Pacetti had been serving as manager of customer service since 2015 when he caught the eye of top management.
“Anthony introduced a whole new skill set to the job,” says Pacetti’s supervisor Michael Haeg, vice president of marketing and sales. “Not only in team building and organization, but he also connected some new dots on the digital side. Tony has the background and leadership abilities that make him well-suited for this challenge.”
Prior to joining RGPC, Pacetti was the transportation technology advisor at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. where he gained an overview of best practices based on the workings of 130 short lines.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity,” says Pacetti. “I believe we can set new standards for the industry. My goal is to help people work smarter in a stress-free environment.”
Anthony and his wife Heather live in Weatherford, Texas.
Rio Grande Pacific Railroad Corporation (RGPC) has rail operations in Nebraska, Louisiana, Idaho, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Texas. The firm has extensive national holdings in commercial real estate, energy, and technology.
