As Project Manager for Rio Grande Pacific Transit Group, Matthew’s role ranges from construction management to contract negotiation to capital budget analysis. Mr. Mattiza has worked with Rio Grande Pacific since June of 2010, beginning as an intern while attending the University of Texas at Arlington studying Civil Engineering. Matthew is a qualified bridge and track inspector, and he also performs internal engineering design work. In addition to being the project manager for RGPTG, he is also the Director of Engineering for RGPC. He manages the Maintenance of Way and Capital Expenditure programs on all four RGPC owned shortline railroads.
